Achievements Chair
- Seventy seven papers have been published, of which 74 papers are in ISI indexed Journals.
- Thirty papers have been presented in International Scientific Conferences.
- Three papers have been presented in National Scientific Conferences.
- Implemented a research project entitled "Precision fertigation for sustainable agriculture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia", funded by the National Plan for Science, Technology and Innovation (MAARIFAH), King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Award Number (10-SPA1193-02), in the period 2011-2013. The project was evaluated from the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and got a mark of 28.5/30. It was also chosen within the outstanding research projects of all projects funded by the National Plan for Science, Technology and Innovation.
- Implemented a research project entitled "Water productivity mapping and assessment of irrigation performance for irrigation water conservation: a study in Al-Kharj region of Saudi Arabia", funded by the National Plan for Science, Technology and Innovation (MAARIFAH), King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Award Number (11-SPA1503-02), in the period 2012-2014. The project was evaluated from the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and got a mark of 30/30, and it was chosen within the outstanding research projects of all projects funded by the National Plan for Science, Technology and Innovation.
- Implementation of a research project entitled "Use of saline water for tomato production in hydroponic greenhouses", funded by the National Plan for Science, Technology and Innovation (MAARIFAH), King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Award Number (11-AGR1939-02).
- Fifteen lectures were organized in the field of precision agriculture technology to professors specializing in the field of precision agriculture from American and British universities.
- A cooperation agreement was signed with the National Agricultural Development Company "NADEC".
- A cooperation agreement was signed with the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Area (ICARDA).
- The Chair carries out most of the scientific research work in cooperation with the National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC) located at Haradh region and Todhia Farm located in Al-Kharj province.
- The Chair carries out some of the scientific research work in cooperation with the Saudi Agricultural Development Company (INMA) at Wadi Al Dawasir area 300 km south of Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia.
